The sliding doors on this airport hangar in MN have been replaced with our one piece hydraulic door. The slider doors have become such an issue for so many people. The maintenance for the bottom door track being one of the main issues. Those of you who live in colder climates spend many hours chipping ice from the tracks to open the sliding doors or are simply stuck unable to access your hangar all together. While others have issues with the height of the tracks and have to incorporate some sort of ramp to go over the track for your aircraft to move in and out.. With Hydraulic Doors you gain easy building access with a nice clean low maintenance look offering you the customer more time to do what you love.

Airplane Hangar Door Q & A
When we started this project our customer had a lot of questions and concerns. He was worried he wouldn’t have enough headroom for his plane and that the large steel framework for our hydraulic door could damage his building. At Premier we provide full side columns and header to support our door frame along with installing flush mount. Retrofitting with a hydraulic door takes up very little headroom and side column space being that the door opens outward in one panel from 0-90 degrees and outside of the opening versus a bi-fold door that lifts up taking up headroom space.
