Sanford Air Medical – Sioux Falls, SD
Located in downtown Sioux Falls, South Dakota, this custom hydraulic hangar door was engineered and installed for Sanford Air Medical’s rooftop facility. The project featured a 40′-2″ wide by 16′ tall hydraulic door system, clad in high-performance Kingspan insulated panels to meet thermal and structural requirements. Due to the unique rooftop helipad location, the entire door system was lifted into place using a crane, showcasing the complexity and precision of the installation. The result is a robust, weather-sealed solution that ensures fast, dependable access for critical air medical operations.
